As you all know, Discovery Camp is coming up this weekend! Thank you to all those who have turned in their consent forms/money on time, we appreciate it. We will be meeting at SJB at 4PM on Friday, December 3, 2010 so that we can leave the church ASAP to get to Holy Redeemer. PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME, keep in mind it will be Friday and there is going to be traffic on the way to the venue. If you all don’t know what to pack, here’s a suggested packing list:
- 2 days worth of clothes (jeans, shirts, underwear, socks, etc) Remember, it’s winter so please pack warm!
- Sleeping clothes (we recommend sweats, because its cold!)
- Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, towel, shampoo/conditioner, soap, etc.)
- Shower slippers
- Bible, notebook/pen, CFC-Y name tag and rosary
- $5 dollar gift for gift exchange
- Sleeping bag, pillow and blanket
- Medication (asthma, allergy, etc.)
Remember to stay prayerful, and remember that though this is a Discovery Camp where you’ll be able to fellowship with our brothers and sisters from other areas, the true purpose behind this weekend to is to learn more about God. This weekend will most definitely be a blessed one!
